ABOUT

We don’t just teach culture. We create experiences that make people feel it.

At The CLU Studio, we design games and interactive workshops that do what PowerPoints and policy manuals can’t—they open people up. Through immersive, emotionally intelligent experiences, we help teams see beyond roles, rules, and routines. We spark self-awareness. We make space for the kinds of conversations that shift perspectives, deepen trust, and actually change how people work together. Because the real barriers to collaboration aren't technical—they're human. From our global bias research initiative (Bias Hurts), to the transformative identity-shifting gameplay of The Viewing Deck™, to the practical learning journeys inside The CLU Academy, everything we offer is designed to do one thing: Make culture personal, powerful, and unforgettable.

THE VOICE BEHIND THE WORK

Steffon Isaac designs what PowerPoints can’t: moments that move people.

Steffon Isaac designs what PowerPoints can’t: moments that move people. As founder of The CLU Studio, he creates games and experiences that help teams uncover the unseen dynamics shaping trust, culture, and connection. A lifelong entrepreneur, Steffon’s work is rooted in story, shaped by lived experience, and driven by one belief: real change starts with the conversations we’re not yet having. Originally from the Caribbean, he lives in Brooklyn with his young son—his daily reminder that curiosity and play are serious tools for growth.

PORTFOLIO

Bias Hurts

Bias Hurts is our global research initiative uncovering the quiet, often unspoken ways personal bias influences workplace culture, decisions, and relationships. It’s more than data—it’s a mirror. A starting point for organizations ready to move beyond diversity statements and toward cultures built on deeper awareness, better choices, and more human connection. Because the problem isn’t that bias exists. The problem is how rarely we notice when it does.

The Viewing Deck™

You don’t need more information. You need a new perspective. The Viewing Deck™ is a transformative team experience that helps people do something radically simple—and surprisingly hard: see the workplace through someone else’s eyes. Through identity-shifting scenarios and honest conversation, it reveals how bias, perception, and lived experience shape the way we lead, collaborate, and make decisions. It’s not just a team-building tool.
It’s emotional intelligence in action—and a fresh lens on what’s really happening in your culture.

The CLU Academy

The CLU Academy is our self-paced e-learning platform, designed to help individuals and teams build emotional intelligence, and lead with greater clarity. It’s a flexible extension of our live workshops and perfect for organizations looking to deepen the work and scale impact across their culture. Each course is self-paced, thoughtfully designed, and grounded in real-world impact.

Services

The Unlocking Awareness Workshop

An interactive workshop that helps teams recognize how bias, identity, and blind spots shape their everyday interactions. Through guided discussion, storytelling, and hands-on activities, participants learn to see what they’ve been missing—and gain the tools to communicate more clearly, connect more deeply, and lead with greater awareness.

The Viewing Deck™

A facilitated session using The Viewing Deck™, a card-based game where teams step into someone else’s shoes—literally. Using identity-based scenarios, participants explore how perspective shapes experience, decision-making, and workplace dynamics. The session sparks honest conversations, builds empathy, and helps teams recognize how unseen factors like bias and identity influence culture, connection, and trust.

The Unlocking Empathy Experience

An interactive experience that teaches teams how to use empathy as a practical communication skill—not just a feeling. Participants learn to recognize emotional cues, take different perspectives, and respond in ways that build trust and connection. This workshop strengthens emotional intelligence by helping people navigate tough conversations, reduce miscommunication, and create a workplace where people feel seen, heard, and understood.

The Unlocking Allyship Panel Discussion

A guided panel discussion that brings together voices from across your organization to share real experiences and insights about identity, privilege, and support. Through honest conversation and thoughtful facilitation, the panel helps teams reflect on what allyship looks like in action—and how each person can play a role in creating a more inclusive workplace.
